The air conditioning on my 2008 Chevy Suburban was inoperative and my regular mechanic charged the system with freon which lasted less than a week. When i brought the vehicle back, he quickly diagnosed the problem as corroded lines going to the rear evaporator unit which he should have diagnosed before he charged the system with freon . He charged me more than $50 for the diagnosis and then informed me that he didn't have the tool needed to do the repair and told me to bring the car to a Chevy dealer. I found Larson's Service, Inc on the internet, and talked with Dianne Larson. She researched the issue and suggested that the cost of the repair could be substantially reduced if i didn't need the rear seat air conditioner. Since the vehicle is used only by my wife and i, it made sense not to repair the corroded lines going back to the evaporator which would have been very expensive. She was very professional, booked an appointment to do the work and completed the work on the same day. I would highly recommend her company and would go back for other repairs. i think my old mechanic is history. ,
